Kaziranga National Park

Kaziranga is world-renowned for housing over two-thirds of the world’s population of one-horned rhinoceroses. Jeep Safaris – Ideal for covering large distances and spotting big mammals.

Elephant Safaris – A unique experience, especially in the early morning, providing close-up views of rhinos and other wildlife in the tall grass.

• Morning Safari: 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM
• Afternoon Safari: 1:30 PM to 4:30 PM (Exact timings may vary with seasons and park regulations.)

The best time to visit Kaziranga is from November to April, when the park is open to tourists. The weather during this time is pleasant and ideal for safaris. The park is closed from May to October due to heavy monsoon rains and flooding.

• By Air: The nearest airport is Jorhat Airport (97 km), while Guwahati International Airport (217 km) is well-connected to major cities.
• By Rail: Furkating Junction is the closest railway station (75 km away).
• By Road: Kaziranga is easily accessible by road via National Highway 37, with regular bus and taxi services from Guwahati, Tezpur, and other nearby towns.
